Bienvenidos.  Latina/o Literature and literature of the Americas are taught in courses offered by the Department of English at the University of Northern Colorado.  At this site you will find posted various courses and syllabi, and there are substantial links to Latinidad.  Please note and take advantage of the resources for finding books, many of which are becoming increasingly scarce as today's publishing market is forcing many small presses out of business.  Check out Espresso Mi Cultura,  a wonderful looking website and bookstore in Hollywood.  "For the best selection of books by or on Chicanos/Latinos and on culture of the Latino & Indigenous Americas."
Also worth looking at are two websites for new books.  The first is J.L. Navarro's website where you can read the first chapters of his two new books, After the War and A Little Bit of Madness.  Navarro's website address is http://tuvo_13.tripod.com/books/.  The second is Go to Sam Quinones website
On another note, and for a very strange experience, have you ever considered confessing to Performance Artists?  Although his name is not on the site, if you want to get internet interactive with Guillermo Gomez-Peņa, or someone who does a great imitation, then visit The Temple of Confessions  Pretty amazing.
If you are trying to find a speaker, or if you are interested in "an alternative educational resource for those interested in learning about Latinos in the United States," take a look at Latino Promotions.  Their home page says, "our various programs and resources provide information about Latino history, politics, and culture, as well as several issues such as immigration, affirmative action, ethnic identity, multiculturalism, and how these fields relate the diverse Latino groups in the United States."
Ni modo, enjoy the website, and please drop me a note with suggestions or comments.  Que le vaya bien.
